Wedding videography Highlights of Stephanie & Ersin's special day at Boreham House in Essex.
The setting for Alexandros’ christening was St Sophia’s orthodox cathedral in Bayswater, London. We are grateful to have worked in several orthodox christenings and weddings here, yet we are always struck anew by its peaceful atmosphere. You don’t have to be religious to appreciate its beauty, light, and perfect proportions.
Since its consecration in 1882 St Sophia’s cathedral has been the beating heart of the Greek orthodox community in London. While the domed roof suggests something special from outside,
Here is a sneak-peak gallery from the christening of lovely Melina!
A pre-wedding session is not only about having beautiful pictures to share with family and display at the wedding, it is also a way for a couple to show the world how they see themselves as a couple and to confidently launch themselves into the arena of nearly-newlyweds. Of course, weddings are about the bride and groom, but they are also about traditions and families. A couple’s session, however, is only about the couple, and they are great fun for everyone involved.

No wedding is complete without a wedding cake, so we were delighted to be asked to do the cake photos for esteemed cake maker Elizabeth Solaru and her book, Opulencia. Elizabeth's s Cake Emporium or ECE is one of the UK’s leading cake makers, with her high-end creations being recognisable for their fine detail. The way she and her team transform simple ingredients into incredibly realistic yet edible flowers, jewels and pearls is nothing short of amazing.
It will come as no surprise that food photography is completely different to
It was crystal clear when we met this couple to plan their wedding at Hatfield House, that they were bound for life, and that they each felt incredibly fortunate to have found the other. No filter or post-editing magic could recreate that look of absolute love!
The youthful energy of the guests at a bar or bat mitzvah is always a lot of fun, and it is enjoyable watching families celebrate together, sharing loving bonds in a tradition that is thousands of years old.
We started the day with some individual shots of Osher, who looked endearingly proud if slightly self-conscious in his suit and hat, showing signs of the man he will become. He is the oldest boy in a family with seven children, and we took the opportunity to do individual pictures of all the siblings. It is always lovely to have images of children at different stages of their lives - not only at a handful of milestone events - and something parents and grandparents appreciate enormously.
Whatever the event, we always look for those candid moments, the unscripted shots which capture the emotion of the day and show subjects at their most natural. A special thank you to Osher’s mother for allowing us to play a role in this momentous occasion. They made us feel extremely welcome, and we enjoyed our experience of the day. Mazel tov!
I love the sense of drama that the holiday season adds to a wedding. These special days are beautiful in their own right, but when you add the colours and sparkle of Christmas together with a magnificent setting it makes it a great pleasure. Gina had her heart set on marrying in St Albans Cathedral and Abbey and was happy to wait for a date to become available. This cathedral holds particular significance for christians as it is where Britain’s first saint, Alban, is buried. Despite its size, the abbey is a warm and welcoming space, holding not only Church of England services, but also Catholic, Russian Orthodox and Lutheran ones. Gina and Graham could not have made a better choice for their big day.
For many women their wedding day is the one day when they feel like a celebrity. They have honed their bodies, followed rigorous beauty routines, and had their hair and makeup professionally styled to make them not only look incredible, but feel more beautiful and confident than at any other time in their lives as they walk down the aisle.

When L. and her family took a once-in-a-lifetime long holiday, they were keen to ensure they had a special way to remember the occasion. She had seen some of my work and contacted me in advance to arrange their session in Santorini.
You may think that weddings are virtually the same as christening images and videos. While it is true that the events are similar in many ways - the setting, the families, the familiar ceremony, christenings have a different feel altogether as the parents are typically more relaxed than a bride and groom, and that makes a world of difference to a professional.
When both the bride and groom come from a Greek-Cypriot background, you know the celebrations will not be quiet, and guests invited to attend Andrea and Adam’s wedding at Twelve Apostles Orthodox church certainly got into the spirit. Even though I was with the couple from the time they were preparing until well into the night, the happiness generated by the couple, their family and friends infused me with energy and made it an enjoyable experience for me as well.
The Country Club Hotel from rising group of Across Hotels, is on the Central Greek mainland, in a lovely small village called Mikro Chorio, surrounded by mountains and forests. If you did not know you were in Greece, you could almost picture yourself as in the Swiss Alps or a Colorado ski resort, as the hotel has the atmosphere of a luxurious lodge. The red and green interior echoes the natural landscape, while the panelled wood ceilings, stone walls and roaring fireplaces are reminiscent of a ski chalet.
The Ukrainian wedding of Oleksandr and Olesya's took place in London. It is always such a pleasure to photograph events from different cultures and this celebration was not an exception. The sense of family and love was very strong and the traditional Ukrainian ceremonies and practices made for such a special day - we feel so grateful to have been a part of it.
The sun was shining to make it a gorgeous day for Fiona’s baptism at Our Lady of Loreto and St Winefride’s in Kew. The Roman Catholic church’s light, bright interior was a fantastic backdrop for christening images, and we enjoyed shooting some of the church’s details before the guest of honour arrived and the service began.
A birthday celebration at Mayfair Hotel, London
As much as I love working in London, getting the opportunity to work abroad is a fantastic treat, especially in my home-country Greece where I'm usually moving for the summertime. So it was with enormous excitement that this lovely couple chose us for their wedding. She was a classically beautiful bride in her strapless sweetheart wedding gown with a fabulously full ruffled skirt. The pure white dress was offset sensationally by her bridesmaids, whom she had chosen vivid purple strapless dresses for, and her matron of honour, who wore hot pink. The gardens were full of purple and white flowers, and we had a lot of fun taking shots before the bride, her family, and friends made their way to the church on foot, accompanied by musicians and merriment.
In Greek-Cypriot weddings, some couples adapt customs to fit their more modern lives while others, like Georgina and Evros, retain many elements of their heritage and celebrate their wedding day in a thoroughly traditional manner. Modern or traditional, every couple is unique, which makes our job varied and enjoyable. Our day started at Georgina’s home, as her seven bridesmaids helped her get ready for her big day, with the preparation of the bride and groom being almost as important as the wedding ceremony itself.
Room Seasons products have that extra quality and stylisation that every creator loves. Nicolas and Damien founders of the company are two talented professionals who studied together at the internationally acclaimed Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon France. It was a pleasure for me to work with them and in their London based newly formed company. I was able to capture the essence of the business via wonderful closeup meal shots, full of lovely textures and vibrant colours. Room Seasons provides room service food for 3 and 4 star hotels.
Forget Paris! When it comes to Europe’s most romantic city it is London all the way. Just look at these incredible shots from Nimia and Albert’s visit here in London. The newlyweds flew from Miami en route of their honeymoon! They booked me for a professional photo shoot in London, to celebrating their wedding by posing around famous streets and sights.
This article is a description of a working day, it will explain the thought processes and preparation required and that goes into making your special day as perfect as you deserve.
As children, we all imagined ourselves as doctors, famous singers, rock stars, celebs, country leaders, lawyers, teachers, and so on. We would built scenarios about how great we would be at what we do and how we changed the world.
Of all the jobs on Earth, I have never heard anyone dreaming of becoming a wedding professional photographer! I believe it is a slightly underestimated job but I can assure you it is one of the most fascinating ones, if I have a saying on this! Yes, it is a lot of difficult job, but it is really worth every bit of it.
The weather was perfect for Christalla and Chris’ wedding at Orsett Hall, so Chris sat outside in the sunshine while his koumbaro performed the traditional wedding-day shave. At the end of his preparations, the groom looked as smooth as James Bond in his black dinner jacket, flanked by his groomsmen as they made their way to the church. While one team was busy at Chris’ house, another was at Christalla’s, capturing her preparations which included the stolisma that is Greek-Cypriot customary. It wasn’t immediately apparent on the day but, looking back at the images during editing, it is surprising how similar the three beautiful sisters look! Following ceremony at St Demetrios Orthodox Church in Edmonton, where Father John and Father Evangelos graciously allowed us to capture the wedding, everyone departed for the Orsett Hall reception. The private gardens looked gorgeous in the sunshine, and we made the most of the setting to capture portraits of the newlyweds and group shots with their family and friends.

On a lovely summer day we were fortunate enough to capture this lovely wedding, held at the Chelsea Town Hall in London. It was an emotional afternoon full of happiness for all. Alexandra was an absolute vision; in a 1950's style lace belted dress, with a glistening hairpin and striking red suede ankle strapped stiletto shoes. Whilst Tom looked ultra dapper in a full 3 piece navy blue suit. It was wonderful catching the moments of Tom, knowing that Alexandra was slipped behind the corner, where he could not see. It was a wonderful service held at the Chelsea Registry Office (in non-coincidentally the 'Brydon Room'), with about 20 family guests. The pale yellow room, with large ornate gold mirrors and crystal chandeliers made a wonderful backdrop for the wedding ceremony. The celebrant was light hearted and made the service well suited to Alexandra and Tom's carefree and vibrant personalities. We loved catching the emotion in the room, including some beautiful tears from Tom's father, on exchanging of the rings.
Alexandra and Tom were an absolutely stunning couple. Here is some of our favourites shots from their wedding. Wedding photographers are a breed apart. But did you know that there are many sub-species within this group, all with their own distinctive habits? Even wildlife presenter David Attenborough would be fascinated to study these strange, wild creatures out in the field.
This couple were in London's City and wanted something special to remember being here together. What better idea than to have a session with each other, around some of city’s most exclusive landmarks and streets or tourists attractions and sights. The day was grey and of what many would call miserable, however the colour of the sky added nothing but further depth to the imagery, making that couple stand out dramatically.
Here are some of my favourites shots.
American visitor M was so excited by her visit to London, that she wanted to capture the occasion with a professional photo shoot in London. We choose our locations for a London Love Gallery with great care, making sure our images are an accurate reflection of their London experience and not merely a generic collection of images.
M had fallen in love with the refined, fancy side of the city, so we chose settings like Tower Bridge, Hyde Park and the
While we often capture other type of baptisms, a Ukrainian Christening is less "typical" for us, and it was a real treat to be asked to record the event, especially with a family so warm and lovely as this one.
Anna and Christos' wedding in Birmingham and Leicester was a delight to capture. We started from Anna's bridal preparation at her family house in Leicester. In true Cypriot style, we were welcomed into an abundant home buzzing with family and friends of all ages. It was a beautiful wedding day and made for a great setting for shots of our bride, Anna. We did our usual close ups but my favourite was capturing Anna getting ready in her parents bedroom and having her mother and fathers wedding photo in the shot with her.
V and I knew their wedding day, which we were the professionals for and which you can see here, was going to be as much about the bringing together of their Greek-Cypriot and Indian families as it was about celebrating their marriage. Having an engagement session was a great opportunity for them to put aside the stress of wedding planning and simply enjoy being together. The couple was a joy to work with. We took these images in Verulamium Park in St Albans, and around some landmarks of this Hertfordshire's historic city.
Christening is one of the most major mysteries in the Orthodox Christian Church and it makes a great opportunity for the child’s family to gather and celebrate together the entrance of the child to the body of the church. For this reason, the value of beautiful, high-quality shots is great as these will be kept as a milestone of the child’s greatest moments for the years to come.
As professionals with many years of experience in events and celebrations, we were delighted to be hired for the shooting of Sean Evangelos Toma’s baptism. The ceremony took place at the Greek cathedral of the Holy Cross
Inspired from traditional pattern and design of Vietnamese ethnic minorities and combined with modern fashion design, the Vietnamese-Swiss fashion designer, Lan Tschirky has released “Ethnic Chic” Collection. The material to make this collection was handmade entirely by artisans from high mountains in Northern Vietnam. The brocade pattern with the contemporary textile creates the luxury look but remains still as clothing that is wearable by consumers.
London is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. Where better, then, for Melissa and Alex to have their session after their wedding at Banking Hall City.
Here is a summer wedding I've captured in Athens. The lovely couple chose their homeland as they wanted to ensure their special day was infused with unmistakable Greek flavour. Constantinos lives in Milan and Aphrodite resides in Lausanne. The couple met in the Italian capital when Aphrodite moved there to study.
